Perttu Salovaara

Organizational analyst and consultant specializing in alternatives to hierarchy with over 20 years of experience helping organizations develop radically decentralized structures. Based in Vienna, Austria, Perttu holds an Associate Professor title from the University of Helsinki and earned his PhD in 2011 studying post-heroic forms of leadership. His research focuses on self-managing organizations, community-oriented organizing, and the practical implementation of flat organizational models. Through his work at The Metanoia Institute and previously with Finnish consultancy Jointu, he helps organizations navigate the transition from traditional hierarchies to more autonomous, networked structures.
